Brianna was so very nice and I am appreciative of the best birthday tres leche.  Also guacamole so good but too expensive

Honestly this place is awesome! I feel the reviews are way off with this place. Every time I go here, I have a pretty good experience ordering food to the quality of the food is great. From the fresh made tortillas to the delicious drinks, this place is the best! I've been going here since they were just in Utah and it always delicious.

When I go here, I get the salad with pork. That pork is what makes Cafe Rio so delicious. The pork is nice and sweet that's perfectly cooked that adds such a nice taste to your salad, burrito, tacos or what you decide to get. They also add a fresh made tortillas at the bottom of the salad which always tastes awesome. The salad is pretty big so I generally share it. Make sure you get the house creamy cilantro ranching dressing. Yummy!

Recently I found out about the nacho cheese and chips. Now that's a must for me Everytime I order Cafe Rio. They give you a ton of chips with a nice helping of nacho cheese and salsa. So good and it's even better to dip the tortilla in the nacho sauce.

All in all, I enjoy Cafe Rio and always deliveries delicious food.

While the food is excellent the personnel are poorly trained and fail to provide even the rudimentary semblance of customer service.

That said, the food is well made, fresh, and a great improvement over their competitors. I recommend their salads.

Perhaps management will focus on teaching the staff customer service skills.

I really love the food here. But I tried to call in an order, when I was on my way home, and was told it would be 30 minute wait. I would understand that if I was ordering at 5 PM. This was 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I was ordering one order of nachos. Inste I skipped the order and did not get anything from Café Rio. What a bummer

Update: I tried to stop in today to get a quick bag of chips and queso to go. There were three people casually in line waiting to order their lunch, and I went directly to the register where no customer was checking out. I asked to get a to go queso, and was told I needed to get in the back of the lunch line..... for something anyone can scoop into to-go bowl. I'm done now. Cafe rio, you have to be more customer friendly than this.

Never order the shrimp tacos! First off, they were made with flour tortillas instead of corn. I got tacos because I prefer corn over flour tortillas, duh!  And secondly, if I knew I'd only get 2 shrimp per taco (and the guy on the grill, had his back turned toward us) I would not have paid for it. Also, the beans were VERY salty. I'd rather go to Senor Taco, down the street where they give a generous helping of shrimp and have a salsa bar; not just hot sauce bottles. Also, the prices are definitely inflated-$10 for 4 shrimp, salty beans and flour tortillas  no thanks. The only thing I did like were the drink choices. They offer more than the usual soda or iced tea. I had the watermelon lime juice.
